Simmr is a UK marketplace that gives home cooks and tiffin providers everything they need to run a food business — and gives eaters a warm way to discover real home-cooked meals near them.
Why we built Simmr
Some of the best food in the country never makes it onto a menu. It's cooked at home — regional dishes, family recipes, the tiffin a neighbour makes better than any restaurant. We built Simmr so those cooks can sell what they make, and so the people around them can taste it.
What we believe
- Cooks should keep what they earn. We charge a flat monthly fee and take no commission on orders.
- Food should be trustworthy. We surface Food Hygiene Ratings and require clear allergen information on every dish.
- Local is better. Fresh, home-cooked, and made by someone in your neighbourhood — not a dark kitchen across town.
